Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 10/5/12
Aroma: It has some caramel, toasted malts, and a little earth on the nose
Appearance: It pours a clear caramel color without any head or lace on the glass
Flavor: The taste is mostly malty, it is medium sweet, and has a mild earthy bitterness
Palate: The body is fairly light, there’s a smooth/clean feel and a soft carbonation to this one
Overall Impression: I felt that this was a solid, malty beer. It drinks fairly typical of the Marzen style, and hits on what it is trying to be, but it isn’t the beer for my taste.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper color with a thin off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of caramel, toasted malts and floral hops. The taste is toasted grainy malts, herbal and leafy hops. Medium bodied.
