Bottle, 75cl. A hazy, dark golden beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma is rather weak, with some citrus, a touch of pine cones and yeast and some herbal, grassy hints. There’s a decent bitterness in the flavor, with resins, grass and pine cone hints. Pale malts, some citrus and chalk. Lasting finish. Medium to full body and a very soft carbonation. Too yeasty this one, and rather boring. 150411

Shared bottle at Vaaland Bryghus 10.04.15. Cloudy golden, off-white head. Aroma of old malt and grains, barn, dry that hay that has become wet and bandaid. Similar taste. A bit earthy.

Flaske, mens vi brygger hos Egdetveit’en: uklar gylden med fint skum. Lukter litt plaster, vått høy og gjær. Vammel smak, denne blir ingen favoritt hos meg.

Tap at the Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is yeast, light malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry mineral hoppy bitter palate and a short bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A saison. Really?i
