Overripe banana, grain, and apple aroma. Hazy ochre, thin head. Syrupy sweet banana, apricot, and triple sec flavor with triple sec strength. Apploe skins also detected. Extremely without balance, no hops. The alcohol is strong but palatable. Actually more drinkable than DFH 120, but with far less hops. Not awful, but I’d rather have more balance.

This one courtesy of ericandersnavy. Thanks man! Pours clear reddish copper with a slight beige head. The nose is big on malt and fruit. Sort of red berry. No heat issue. Full bodied with mildly frothy carbonation. Flavors are like plum, berry, honey, spice, malt, and I bet I could imagine more. It’s fairly complex. Heat is barely detectable. Rather like a not so sweet mead.

Bottle, big thanks to Ericandersnavy. Pours with a brown body and a tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, sherry, floral notes and honey. Taste is still quite sweet with caramel, honey and marmalade. Syrupy mouthfeel with a really sweet finish. Surprised that it is this big, with so much residual sugar and still carbonated. Not sure that it is really as big as it claims to be.
