Tap at Appalachian, Collegeville, 29/11/13. Hazed mahogony brown with a light beige covering. Nose is light spice, malt, caramel, lick of boozey do. Taste comprises dark toffee, brown sugars, touch of booze. dark fruit notes, brown bread. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, sweet closure with boozey fumes a little on the harsh side. So so - had this more as a barley wine.
