Had this on tap at GBD (Golden Brown Delicious) in DC. Poured a pretty vibrant yellow-orange color with a nice medium sized white head. Aroma was some light malts, light spice notes with plenty of black pepper in there. Wheat character, black pepper dominates a bit. Dryness from the honey is apparent. A good friend of mine is convinced that this will pair well with their chicken and waffles, and I don’t doubt him.

America Eats, DC tap (expensive as all hell): Pours a light orange with a quickly dissipating head. Aroma is light clove, light malt, and a bit of sugar. This is pretty much a dignified lawn mower beer. Everything is good, but it is so light that it could not be offensive to even the most inexperienced palate. Again, it is not bad, but it is kind of a run of the mill American Belgian Wit.
