Bottle: Poured a light golden color ale with a large foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of tart notes with light funky ester with nice grapes notes. Taste is a nice mix of tart notes with some sweet grape notes and light funky aromas with some vinous notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Superb mix of flavours with the right amount of complexity and some great level of drinkability.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av humle, gröna druvor, vitt vin, vinfat, grapefrukt, jäst med toner av apelsinskal. Fruktig, frisk, torr, fin sötma, rund och len, viss syrlighet, bra balans. Mycket gott!

375 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 5/21/2020. Pours slightly hazy deep golden/yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart lemon, lime, peach, apricot, melon, pineapple, pear, green apple, white grape, white wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, bread, light leathery/musty funk, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky yeast, white grapes, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart lemon, lime, peach, apricot, melon, pineapple, pear, green apple, white grape, white wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, bread, light leathery/musty funk, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/tannic tartness and light yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, peach, apricot, melon, pineapple, pear, green apple, white grape, white wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, bread, light leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky yeast, white grapes, and moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness balance, and zero puckering flavors after the finish. Light dryness from fruity/tannic tartness, lightly increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/tannic, and lightly acidic balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol for 8.1%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited Belgian strong pale ale! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky yeast, white grapes, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the balanced tart/tannic finish. Really awesome Brett complexity, with great balance of white wine grapes. Nice malt backbone, never overly sweet. A highly enjoyable offering.
