What’s that bite of tartness doing in a pumpkin beer? Adding the unexpected kick of cranberry juice to brighten this traditionally spiced seasonal ale. Pumpkick is brewed with plenty of pumpkin juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, but it's the cranberries and touch of lemongrass that send your taste buds sailing.

Bottle. Light amber color. Small head. Aroma was slight spicy, pumpkin. Taste was a watery, spicy, not much sour taste. Just an average beer.

Keyaki. Spicy, bit too sweet for me. It's alright, but I don't quite get regular pumpkin beers so not surprised it doesn't do much for me. It's my fault, not the beer's.

On tap at P&P Charleston. Clear light orange with small beige head. Aroma is nice pumpkin, lighter body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is pumpkin, cranberry, spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice).

Crisp light amber body with a copper glow and a funky, large-bubbled off-white head about a centimetre tall. Aroma of grain, alcohol, light spices and a touch of caramel - not too pungent at all. Light to Medium-bodied; Slightly funky flavour of yeast and grain with a little spices and a touch of sweetness from caramelised sugars. Aftertaste is relatively bland with only a bit of earth and spices noticeable along with a faint kick of earth and squash. Overall, a pretty mediocre beer with not much flavours around and especially not anything worthwhile. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Trader Joe’s in Falls Church, Virginia on 30-September-2016 for US$1,67 sampled at home in Upstate (New Paltz), New York on 25-November-2016.

Bottle from Meijer poured into a pint glass, orange with a bit of white head. Aroma of pumpkin spice is nicer than the watery bland taste. There are a whole lot of pumpkin ales and stouts out there far above this product.
