Hazy Orange, Huge Head, Decent Lacing. Pumpkin Aroma. Tastes Mostly Pumpkin and Cinnamon. No Sigh Of Cranberries as mentioned on the label. Medium Body, Soft Carbonation, Mellow. Easy To Drink. Rather Good. Worth A Try...

Pours a hazy orange/amber color and leaves a two finger white foamy head, lacing is sporadic and spider webbed, the smell obviously has pumpkin up front with some clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, then as it warms a bit there is a slight scent of cranberry, the taste has the pumpkin dominating with all of the previously mentioned flavors and becoming slightly tart due to the cranberry, its fairly easy on the palate and drinkable, overall, this is a good Pumpkin Ale that I would come back to

Draft at Franklin Tap. Pumpkin pie smell is a little light; not as big on the nose as the Cisco pumpkin beer I had earlier. Deep autumnal orange color, thin head. It does have a pumpkin taste at the start, then spices build as I sip. The spice masks an overall sweetness like a bit of molasses, and kept me from guessing there was a tart fruit addition as well. Instead, I started to detect a bit of roastiness that might have come from the pumpkin, but now I see they used pumpkin "juice." Mild on the alcohol, but pretty filling. I would never mistake it for something besides a pumpkin pie beer, I’m pretty sure.

Draft. Hazy amber color, medium white head. Aroma is heavy spice. Taste is tart spice. Odd.

12 ounce bottle into signature globe glass, best before 12/8/2013. Pours very hazy orange amber color with a small off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, brown sugar, toast, brown bread, floral, light cranberry, and herbal earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of malt, pumpkin, and spice notes with slight cranberry presence; and good strength. Taste of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, brown sugar, toast, brown bread, and herbal earthiness. Minimal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, brown sugar, toast, brown bread, and herbal earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and complexity of malt, spice, and pumpkin flavors; with nearly zero cranberry presence and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and fairly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice pumpkin ale. All around well balanced malt, spice, and pumpkin flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

On tap at the Denver airport. Pours a clear orangish amber with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice pumpkin note with a touch of spice and sweet grains. Flavor has light cranberry with a combination of pumpkin and spice with a bread backbone.

Bottle: Pours a lighter copper color with some haze, topped with a minimal off-white head. Pumpkin is present in the aroma, but outshined by the cinnamon and allspice. Flavors get a little muddled with the lemongrass and cranberries, there is some tartness and dry grassy notes, but overall it competes with the spices and pumpkin. The carbonation is higher and that helps; it goes well with the tart and grassy components. Finishes with a flurry of cinnamon and nutmeg. Kudos for the effort, I like the concept, but overall it needs refinement.

12 oz bottle from a six pack bought at Super 1 in Rathdrum, ID. Aroma is initially doughy before the pumpkin pie spices kick in; the cranberries follow along behind that. Pours hazy orange with a collapsing white head. Taste is as described: standard pumpkin beer fare along with tart cranberry juice. Body is medium to thin, carbonation average. Nice deviation from the average, but not really blowing me away, either.

Essence of gingerbread, amber with very thick creamy head. Else it’s not as rich as some of the other fall pumpkin beers I’ve tried recently. Not bad, but not great.
