Pours clear dark amber color with light tan head. Aromas of pumpkin pie spices. Similar flavors with a hint of cranberry tartness. Medium body with average carbonation. Pumpkin beers aren’t my thing but a friend had a bottle and tickers gonna tick!

Total Wine, Fairfax 12oz: Pours orange with a wee white head. Aroma is mild pumpkin spice and a little bit of cranberry. The cranberry is pretty subdued in the taste. Basically, I am getting mild pumpkin spice in this beer. Slightly sweet. Fairly bubbly. Mouthfeel ok. Not particularly impressed.

Bottle, 12oz. It’s a hazy, golden-orange beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white to light beige head leaving curtains. It’s slightly berry-sour on the nose, with a spiced touch and something citrusy. Some caramel maltyness too. It’s very soft on the palate, a bit too carbonated actually, and if it weren’t for the light tartness, it would’ve been way too much. It’s medium to thin bodied. Spices, some bitterness, a touch of caramel and citrus peel in the flavor, finishing lightly sourish and with a nice combo of caramel, spices and citrus. Quite interesting this one, adding the cranberry juice and using less spices than everyone else seems like a good idea to me. 130829

12oz bottle. Poured a completely clear orange color with a slightly foamy white head. Aroma was some pumpkin pie spices, caramel, allspice, cloves. Flavor was some sweet notes, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, and while not in the aroma as much, at least at the start, the cranberries are there.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent copper with a creamy beige head. Spice aroma. Med body, or nearly. Flavor is mostly pie spice with some apparent cranberry tartness. Not a lot tho. My tastebuds haven’t left the dock. Decent, at least average, spiced ale.

Pours slightly hazed, deep orange with a creamy off-white head. Strong pumpkin pie spice scents.... Taste is pumpkin....Cranberry juice.... The cranberry, I think, is a bit of a distraction.... Not bad....

Listening to Pumped Up Kicks while rating this. Not my favorite song, but it is catchy, and given the name of this beer I thought it necessary. Bottle from a Kroger. Pours a clear amber color with a large large foamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of earth, cranberry, pumpkin, mild burnt sugar, spice. The taste is earth, pumpkin, mild spice, herbal notes, tart berries and some hops in the finish. Medium bodied. Solid.

Draft. Pumpkin, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet spicy pumpkin malt flavor. Very good.
