33cl bottle bought at the brewery. Pours very dark mahogany coloured with a rather modest, tanned head. Dried fruits, wood, alcohol and hints of caramel and vanilla. Sweet, smooth and desserty. Warming alcohol and a light bitterness. Pleasant sipper.

(Keg at Põhjala Taproom, 20260530) The beer poured very dark brown and clear. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had wood, raisins, vanilla and prunes. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, caramel, vanilla, wood and bitterness. Aftertaste had wood, vanilla, toasted malts and bitterness. A pleasant blend of sweet malty brew and wood.

TCBW2026. Deep brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is wooden, some raisins, plum and dried fruits with vanilla and some toasted tones too. Flavour is raisins, plum, some alcohol with mild vanilla, toast as well as some wooden tones. Nice drinkability even though it's rather high ABV'd.
