Following their record harvest, Grassy Creek Blueberry Farm graciously gave us 150 lbs of their summer blueberries to lend our hearty Saison the tart finish that only sun-ripe berries can provide. Don’t be fooled by the common belief that all fruit beers are cloyingly sweet. This Saison is true to Wicked Weed form; bright, crisp and dry.

Draft. Hazy reffish blue color, fluffy white head. Aroma of funky berries, sour fruit, barnyard dust. Taste is softly sour berries, plums, dusty, peppery dry finish. Delicious.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy pink color with a thin creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of yeast, tart berries, citrus, pale malts. The taste is pale malt, mild berries, mild spice. Medium bodied and drinkable but left me craving more berry character.
