For three years, a few dusty barrels quietly matured deep in the recesses of Anchorage Brewing Company. These Calumet Farms bourbon casks looked just like any number of other slumbering oaken vessels piled around the brewery, but these particular barrels held something special.

Before bottling this 17.26% ABV brew, Gabe Fletcher and his crew finished the beer on maple syrup, cinnamon, and raw coconut pushing the already decadent flavors to luxurious new heights.

Tasting Notes
We’re expecting malt-driven tones of toffee and candied date bolstered by estery nuances of banana, clove, and pear. A drizzle of whiskey caramel and a sprinkle of cinnamon should accentuate maple notes, leading to a smooth, coconut finish.

Capped 375 from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a dark tan and transient smear. Aroma of cinnamon and bourbon. Full bodied and very very smooth. Far from dry. Not much to compensate for the sweetness. Not much heat. Flavor is dark toasted malt, cinnamon, bourbon and some coconut. Oddly a touch of Kraft caramel. Exceptional flavor.
