Very hazy dark yellow 1 finger creamy head. Has a very clean lemon and wheat and bread nose. Very sweet. Candy like. Very yeasty. Has a pilsener and chimay hybrid taste. Sweet finish

Bottle @ Toronado. Pours a hazy golden orange appearance when a white head. Orange citrusy, oxidation, light cardboard, soda aroma. Somewhat tart, cinnamon, orange juicy, twangy flavor. Old but ok.

Bottle (#4840) from 12.29.2011 thanks to my girlfriend. Also noticed on the bottle (Batch 354, 012012). Pours with a very murky yellow hue with a slight orange tint. Huge and fluffy, retentive and strong lace bearing, tight nit head. Looks pretty spot on. Aromas are yeasty, phenolic, esters and spice. Mild ginger burn, grainy, bready, rustic. Mild wheat, pepper, very spicy, citrus peel/oils, orange, zesty. Lightly grassy. Vibrant. Flavors are bready, yeasty, malty, a bit sweet. Some phenols up front, but lots of wheat towards the finish with mild citrus. Any orange flavors are definitely complementary and in the background. Medium phenols, spice and ginger heat towards the front. A bit of a suntan lotion character. Basic and easy drinking. Mildly waxy towards the end. Zesty. Lively bubbles, medium dry finish (somewhat oddly malty sweet through the mid palate). Pretty solid.
