There have been very few hop varieties that have excited us here at Polly’s HQ quite as much as Nectaron. One we were literally clamouring for and looking on in envy at other breweries’ supplies whilst ours was in transit, once it finally did land at the brewery we knew immediately it was worth the weight. We’ve since tried this ultra hype-forward hop in a variety of combinations, even showcasing in single hop beers, but for Impulse we felt it’s best to go with a tried and tested partner variety, and opt for the fresher than fresh can be Citra hand-picked by our very own Lally during last year’s hop selection in the United States. The result is a powerfully potent pale ale, bursting at the seams with soft peach, ripe tropical fruits, and freshly cut pineapple, with an edge of bright lime notes for balance

Can from The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Aromas of mango, grapefruit, lime, passionfruit. Rich citrus fruits, spot of peach & apricot. Oodles of bittersweet fruits. Mouth coating hops. Nice.
