A 2019 GABF brewed Collaboration between Woods Boss, True Respite (MD), and 1623 Brewing (MD). This mixed Fermented Belgian Golden Strong brewed with Colorado Wild Flower Honey and a light dose of Brettanomyces was aged in Cabernet Franc Barrels for 15 months. It is tart and dry with some beautiful light funk on the finish. Wine character and stone fruit notes drive this beautifully complex beer.

Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting XVI (Last Call) on 10/09/2025. Clear dark golden color with a medium bone white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of vinous fruit, yeast and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of oaky wine, Belgian yeast, caramel malt and funky fruit. The finish is oaky and funky with a wine grape and yeast aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
