Bourbon barrel aged for 23 months and blended with tank aged for more character and smoothness. Pours a deep amber hue. Aromas of toffee, madagascar vanilla bean and sugar dates. Lightly carbonated and full bodied. Smooth notes of malt, toffee, vanilla, and dates. There is a light warming alcohol finish.

Very "fresh" shall we say. Big, big barrel showing coconut, pineapple and such. Malts are there but take a backseat to the huge wood toast. Reminds me of drinking BA beers in 2006!
Phew, yeah that's toasty, tannic, a bit raw and very floral. Some alcohol creeps in. Body isn't too lacking but the alcohol dries it out too much and there's just a touch of chewiness to battle all of this tannin and toast and alcohol.
