Bottle, 375 ml from Svijet Piva. Shared with Miro and JFK10000. Pours black with medium brown head. Roasted, burnt coffee, loads of it. Roasted malts, chocolate, some dark fruit notes, but all overwhelmed with coffee. Sweet with some sourish notes. Not balanced and bit extreme on the coffee side, but I like it that way.

Draft at The Happy Raven, Lincoln, Nebraska. The coffee is bold lingering for days. Deep dark chocolate, deep ash. The body is full and creamy with a smooth Velvet mouthfeel. Very nice construction of this imperial stout.

Keg at Usher’s. Black body with a dense tan head. Excellent lacing. Aroma of espresso, raisins and dark chocolate. Flavour of chocolate ice-cream, nuts, roasted malt and coffee. Medium body with a powdery mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Sumptuous.

375ml bottle from Brewdog Online Shop. Pours jet black with a thick tan head. Strong coffee and dark malt aromas. Taste is more strong coffee, sweet dark chocolate. Long roasted bitter finish. Easy drinking for the strength.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s, Bethnal Green, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium creamy beige head on top. Really rich, roasty, malty, coffee aroma. Tastes the same, incredibly rich, roasty, malty, intense coffee and some chocolate. Slightly bitter finish. Top draw imperial stout.
