Pours black with a large head.Nose shows hazelnut and chocolate along with faint pine.Flavours include chocolate, nutty and toasty malt as well as soft pine, some booze and a metallic, astringent bitter finish.

Pint at Vultures Lane. The IPA takes centre stage, but there’s lots of roasted malt coming through. A really nice example of the style.

Bottle. Very dark maroon brown color, huge beige head with good retention. Aroma of light pine, moderate roast in a pleasant combo. Taste is roasted coffee grounds, bitter cocoa, dark fruit. Tasty.
