500ml bottle. Pours black with a bit of head. Wood, oats, chocolate, blackberry. Thick body. Really nice.

Pours black with a large fading off-white head.Nose shows soft roast, bready malt, caramel and toasty notes.Flavours include sweet bready malt, soft roasted malt and light cocoa. Quite sweet.

On tap at Scotch Wine Bar, Blenheim. Pours dark brown with a big shortlived head. Roasty chocolate and mocca nose. Rather thin taste, easily drinkable, a bit underwhelming after the superb aroma.

Draft at Hamilton Wine. Brown color, brown head. Aroma of oatmeal, cocoa, coffee. Taste is cocoa and coffee grounds. Decent.
