This American amber ale is true to it's roots - with a smooth, slightly fruity yeast profile, caramel malt notes and a little roast. Pacific NW hops complement with citrus and floral notes.

22 Oz bottle shared at Special Brews. Pours a dark amber color with a fizzy head. Flavor is nice. Very malty with some nutty flavor and a little rye, though I might just think the rye is there since I?m so used to it from these guys. Toasty flavor and a bit of caramel. Overall a good, tasty beer.

On tap at Reuben's brews, pours a cloudy, murky dark orangey amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of dry caramel malts, medium pronounced hoppiness, and some metallic overtones. Flavour of citrusy, floral hops, dry roasted caramel malts. Almost reminds me of a black IPA, due to the roast. Surprisingly excellent red ale - one of the best.
