On tap @ the brewery during 7/5/2014 Seattle beer tour. Pours a bit hazy copper appearance with an off white head. Aroma is quite spicy from both the rye and the hops. Some resiny hops. Lots of citrus. Pretty full bodied. The flavor has a lot of spicy rye, sap, and piney hops. High bitterness but balanced pretty well. A bit strong but still pretty tasty.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy light amber color. Both aroma and flavor have a fairly animal character, very similar to the Imperial IPA; but this beer is drier, and with the rye it helps to make it more drinkable. The hops are resiny too.
Good beer, more character than the regular IIPA, but this one too is not too easy to drink.

22oz bottle pours out a nice copper topped with a sand head. Aroma of citrus hops ccaramel sweetness and some rich malts. Taste is more of the citrus rye caramel and a grape fruit bitterness on the end.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy dark golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is full of rye, hempy hops and a little marijuana. Flavour brings out loads of rye, hempy hops, marijuana, and some pleasant vegetal notes. Extremely rye-dominated with loads of hempy notes. The rye and hempy notes linger on and on. Excellent stuff - full-bodied.
