Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy, dark, nutty brown with a small, off-white head. Spicy nose, not sure what. Medium body, dry caramel accents with a very bitter and astringent finish. Totally unpleasant. 020217

Bottle at home. Pours deep orangey brown, nose is herbal, aniseed, sugary, bready, taste is similar, little fizzy, orange.

From bottle @ PRZH Winterbeerfest 2017. Brown color. Aroma’s of herbs, cinnamon, some more herbs. Flavor is very herbal/spicy, light sweet. Medium bodied. More herbs in the finish. Meh.

Bottle at Winterbierfestival Gouda. Very murky brown with small beige head. Looks like mud. Massive spices with cloves, Christmas bread, cinnamon, some caramel, some sweet malts, soft fruit and lime peel. Light sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied.

Überwürzter Antrunk mit malzigem Beiwerk. Während die Malzigkeit ansteigt bleiben die Kräuternoten konstant, mild herb. Langer, trocken gewürziger Nachhall. Dabei ist es schwierig, die verschiedenen Noten zuzuordnen, etwas Nelke. 9/9/9/9/9/9

Tap @ Flakhaven, Odense. Pours hazy to muddy golden with a white head. Spices, yeast, mint and citrus hops. Bitter finish.

Bottle shared with Deanso. Very hazy brown with a cream head. Aroma of herbs, malt, caramel, spice, fruits, red berries. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Jopen Hops & Myrrh ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, spicy, mynte - mint, herbs, soapy, honey sweet, cake - pumpkin spices - clove. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, spicy bitter, dry, sweet malt, cake, pumpkin - spices - clove - cinnamon. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
