Mjödet är gjort på en flytande lite mörkare honung som innehöll nektarinslag från väldigt många olika växter och till stor del samma sorter som mjödet ”Höst i Vänge”. Undantaget var en betydligt högre halt av kärnfrukt, vilket antagligen bidragit till att honungen förblev flytande. Honungen kommer från trakterna kring Vänge och domineras av raps, blåklint och kärnfrukt. Men innehåller även en märkbar del exotiska inslag såsom maskros och blodklöver.

Bottle sample at The Festival. Clearbyellow color, few bubbles. Aroma of flowers! Taste is sweet perfume. Decent.

Bottle at mead tasting on November 2, 2012.Clear pear color, no head. Sweet, honey, alcohol scent. Sweet, honey, sugary, berries taste. Sweet aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, hints of some grape peel. WArming alcohol.

Bottled@SBWF2012. Slightly hazy yellowish golden colour with no head. Aroma is honey, mild nectary notes, some slight floral and herbal notes as well. Flavour is rather similar with some slight apples and mild grassyness. Quite pleasantly balanced and nice sipper.

Sample at SBWF 2012. Slightly hazy golden with no head. The aroma was soft, the taste was rather dry. Some citrus, honey and "meadow". A relaxed one.

Bottled at SBWF. Hazy pale golden, no head. Floral aroma with slight green apples. Light-medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Very floral with notes of white pepper. Soothingm but feels shallow.
