Healthy amount of adjunct but there's plentiful, rich, sweet malt, as well. Not boozey. Adjunct seems pretty nicely homogenized and nothing slaps you in the face.
Sweet, rich, malty, unquestionably dessert-style. But there's good acidity and the pepper isn't too timid, almost functioning as bourbon spice, keeping the finish peppery and acidic, to balance all of this lush fudge, vanilla and maple. The adjuncts are harmonious and the beer not hot in the least. The 8oz can is plenty, but it's very easy to drink. Could dial down the sweetness a bit, though.
