Bottle. Beer of the month club. Almost clear deep amber color with a medium beige head. Aroma of malt, butter (diacetyl), caramel, some nuts, fruity notes and some floral hops. Sweetish malty flavor with some butter, caramel, grainy hints, a bit of hops and a slightly bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied and a bit over carbonated. Would’ve been a decent beer without that annoying diacetyl. Still kinda drinkable, but not really enjoyable.

Bottled. A deep red beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of butter, caramel, and nuts, in an unpleasant way. The flavor is sweet with light notes of butter - making it unpleasant combined with notes of spices and a burnt edge.

Pours a nice amber red into a shaker. Off-white head with excellent retention leaves spot lacing as it recedes to layer surface. Caramel malt aromas. Smooth caramel upfront which transforms to a slightly sour chalk finish.

Pour is deffinatly red with a large tan head. Aroma is a cross between caramel malts and a nice citrus fruit. Flavor is lots of graininess and a mild hoppy backbone. A very drinkable and smooth beer.
