Kyema is a blend of wine barrel-aged beer and our foudre base beer, conditioned for six months in bottle and refermented on 500kg of fresh raspberries. The fruit leads with jammy depth and a gentle sharpness, layered over soft, yoghurt-like acidity and lifted citrus notes. Rounding out with a subtle funk rounds it out. The finished beer is complex, expressive and will slowly evolve over time.

Keg at rhe tap. Opaque-hazy burnt orange. No head. Aroma is fruity and sour and jammy. Flavourwise it's extremely sour but also fruity. Saline edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent. Super sour sour.

Pours lightly hazed amber red with no head. Sharp raspberry, hint of salt, oak, white grape, acidic notes. It's not really balanced a quite acidic. It's OK.

Nose is tarte red berry fruit, light funk, damp hay.
Taste comprises berry pulp, sharp raspberry, grass, hedgerow.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a light puckering edge.
Solid on point sour.

Tap at 73 Enid Street. A light hazed plummy red coloured pour with a a fading halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet, cherry cough sweets, salty, cherry, prickly sour, raspberry. Hint of acetic on the nose. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, super tart raspberry, cherry, light acetic prickly finish, pinch of salt. Sour, lemon juice. Palate is semi sweet, sharp, pinch of citric acid, sour, interesting and complex, bit not an easy drinker. Glad I didn't buy a bottle.

TCBW2026. Orangeish amber colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is citrus, some raspberries, mild tartness with some oaked tones to it. Flavour is raspberries, citrus, some funk, mild tartness, oak as well as some slight acidity as well.
