Sleeping Forever is our anniversary Imperial Stout, released once a year in cans. This incredibly decadent + intense stout was actually one of the first beers we ever brewed and released.
Right before cold conditioning, we blend in a few bourbon barrels full of mature (20+ month aged) Sleeping Forever for added depth and complexity. The final result is a jet black, full-bodied Imperial Stout that pours like motor oil, w/notes of moist double chocolate cake, deep roasted coffee, chewy molasses, candied figs + dark chocolate chips.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Number one with a bullet. Jet black pour. No head. Big dark roasted malt aroma hints at molasses and dark chocolate. Thick, viscous mouthfeel. Flavor is bold and intense. Notes of chocolate ganache, espresso and black currants. Amazing depth and flavor. Long chocolatey finish and aftertaste.
