MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity, mango, passion fruit, some sweet malts, pineapple, nice bitterness, bit piny. Aftertaste: citrus, bitter, sweet malts, very fruity. Lovely beer!

35cl Can from De Bierkoning. Hazy golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of loads of citrusy hops, grapefruit, lemon, mango, some pine, hint of malts. Flavour is very citrusy, great grapefruit and lemon flavours, lime, mango, pine, light sweaty, hint of spicy bitter rye, smooth citrusy bitter finish. Light-bodied. Really nice, and it’s not even the freshest (sept’14).

355 ml can from Ammersin 5 Vienna, canned 09/10/14
Golden, cloudy body, with a big, stable, frothy, slightly yellow head, that leaves a lot of lacing.
Aroma of citrus, peach, tropical fruits, pine, biscuit, slight bubblegum.
Tastes of grapefruit, pine needles, peach, some tropical fruits, some tea, biscuit, some honey, again slight bubblegum.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, quite dry, zesty, with a subtle sweet malt.

Very nice! The rye is subtle but pretty effective, by balancing the bitter, piney hop bite and keeping it smooth. Really aromatic, considering it’s a Pale Ale with a moderate ABV.

Mans thanks to Chris for this can. The nose is great floral, fresh and intense. The beer starts malty-smooth, intense-floral. Great! Malty body, a bit earthy-dry, rye typical with a great fresh floralness due to the hops. The aftertaste is long-lasting, intense floral and smooth. Great!

Location: 12 oz can from Superstar Beverage - Huntington, 10/2/14, 3/31/14 date on the can, so not the freshest, I didn't catch that in the store...

Aroma: The nose is sort of mineral, with spice/rye, and some earthy hop notes
Appearance: It pours a murky gold-orange with a small head and some mid-heavy lace
Flavor: The taste along the same lines, spice and mineral flavors, mid bitter on the finish
Palate: It has a medium body, average-to-lively carbonation, and a somewhat dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a solid beer. It's a little on the odd side, I can't say I can really think of another beer that gives the mineral almost beachy kind of aroma that I'm getting out of this one. The flavor is more typical, but that character is still there. Interesting beer. Would love to try it a little fresher to see the difference.
