Draught taster pour at Powder Keg Beer and Chili Festival. Appearance is deeply hazy golden yellow with trace sparkle, almost finger-width white creamy head with decent retention. Aroma is strong tropical fruit, citrus. Taste is mild fruit at the start, then has a decided lack of flavor--not sweet, not bitter, not spicy--some sort of "other" quality, like a flavorless cucumber or celery, that evokes cellulose. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, the odd vegetative quality described above, a lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, this is OK. It's hard to love or harsh on it because it's difficult to describe, but not in a compelling way. Strange from Amarillo and Citra to only get them in the aroma and not in the flavor.

On tap at Earth Eagle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out moderately dank hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with dank hops and biscuity malt. Crisp, dank and well-balanced. Good stuff.

Pours gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving soapy lacing. Caramel and tropical fruit aromas. Sharp and thin with earthy yeast and tropical fruit upfront turning to dry citrus pith in the lasting finish.
