To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we created something singular. Interiority X is a double-barreled, two-year-aged stout crafted from the most expressive barrels in our cellar.
Two years ago, we began with the goal of making a stout that needed no adjuncts, just beer and wood in perfect harmony. After aging for 12 months, two standout whiskey barrels were transferred into freshly emptied barrels for a second year of maturation. This double-barreling intensified the spirit character, layered in deep oak and vanilla tones, and created one of the most complex beers we’ve ever made. Expect bold whiskey warmth, deep oak structure, and a pure expression of what time and patience can achieve.

On tap at Trap Door, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is decadent, with big vanilla beans, huge bourbon barrels, some cocoa, and lots of sticky dark sugars. Flavour is ridiculously rich, with a huge amount of wood, massive bourbon, sticky sugars, booze, and roast. So much wood, tons of oaky bourbon. A bit brutal but has such lovely barrel and malt depth. Wonderful.

On tap at Trap Door. Pours black with a minimal brown head. Loads of bourbon and dark, sugary malts on the nose. Flavour is rich with loads of dark sugars, brown bread, and intense woody bourbon barrels. Quite boozy. Very intense and very good.
