Our first tart beer. We do love our German traditional styles. Historical Eastern German beer style brewed with 60% Wheat and 40% Pilsner malt. Conditioned with lactobacillus to give it a lemon tart flavor.

On tap at Irrelevant, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out some tangy lemon, light lacto, and a touch of sugar. Flavour is lightly tart, with light lemon tang, some grainy notes, and lacto. Clean enough but not exactly on target. Decent.

On tap at Irrelevant. Pours a hazy blonde with a white head. Dry, wheaty malts and some yeast character on the nose. Flavour has light acidity, wheaty malts, a bit damp. Not bad, but misses the mark a bit.
