Inspired by Belgian abbey beers Mesikapp is a strong amber ale brewed with dark caramel, abbey and Special B malts and fermented with a Belgian abbey yeast before a moderate addition of Hiiumaa heather honey. The result is a heavily malty beer with hints of dried fruit and aromatic honey.

TCBW2026. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is dried fruits, some yeasty spiciness, mild berries and some slight sweet malty tones. Flavour is quite similar, but also has a slight alcohol edge to it. Lacks a bit of complexity to be a really good one, hence it leaves a bit "homebrewish".
