A deep dive into the impact of cryogenically frozen hops, focusing on differences between Cyro and Cyro Fresh hops Simcoe and Krush. Cyro hops are dried and processed before being frozen creating more concentrated hop oils for maximum efficiency in dry-hopping. Cyro Fresh hops are flash frozen ‘wet’ , locking in bright and fresh characteristics and allowing wet-hop style beers to be brewed all year round.
We’ve crafted two IPA’s, one using Cyro hops and the other Cyro Fresh so we invite you to lean into this exploration, form your own opinion and help us continue to develop modern hopping processes.

Pours lightly hazed yellow gold with a decent white cap that fades a little. Orange, pine, a little line, some candy floss on the nose, caramel malts. Drying sticky orange hop finish with refreshing pine and lime notes. Good stuff!

Can at home picked up 73 Enid Street. A mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a loose fine white head. Aroma is woody orange, tangerine, mellow dank, woody lime. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded orange citrus orange, tangerine. Juicy. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, light spicy,. Moderate carbonation. West coast vibes. Lovely.

Appearance is golden, a bit of haze, a 2-3 finger thick rocky white head. Aroma- orange, grapefruit, grape juice, hops, pithy fruit, bit of mango and peach. Taste- orange and pineapple juice, grapefruit, bit of tart fruit but mostly sweet, hop resin, sticky sweet fruit at the end.

Taste comprises ripe tropicana, grass, mango flesh, pine resin, grapefruit.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy come grassy hop bitterness.
