Combining history with innovation, this farmhouse ale is a bridge between the rustic barns of Wallonia and the “new school” hop varieties of today. Starting with a Pilsner malt base, we then added spelt and wheat, before aggressively dry hopping with Krush, Motueka, and Nelson Sauvin hops. The product is a luminous, hazy gold with notes of gooseberry, mango, lime zest, and the classic peppery Belgian spice one expects from a farmhouse beer.
Malt: To Thee Pilsner, Rahr White Wheat, Weyermann Spelt
Hops: Krush, Motueka, Nelson, Tettnang
Yeast: Dupont

On tap at pFriem - Milwaukie, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals plenty of floral dry hopping, some subtle brett-like funk, hay, and rustic saison yeast. Flavour is plenty of hay, dry hopping, light lemon, and rustic saison yeast. Nice farmhouse character, cohesive hop expression. Pleasant.

On tap at pFriem - Milwaukie. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Nose is nice and buggy with a dank, grassy hop expression. Flavour has a lighter, rustic yeast expression, a touch citrus, and a very pleasant floral hopping. Really nice.
