Moa St Josephs is a classic Belgian Tripel. Strong spice, caramel and banana ester characters create complex flavours and aromas which are heightened by its extended bottle conditioning period. The combination of bittering hops, malt and candy sugars compliment the high alcohol content and integrate into a very approachable and drinkable Tripel.

Keg at Moa Tiki, Singapore. Clear pale bronze colour, small head. Fruity nose with bread and marzipan. Mildly sweet with full body and dense, well rounded mouthfeel. Spicy hops, dry grains, marmelade and honey. Peppery warming finish. Intense and complex, yet balanced. Classy!

A hazy, golden beer, a head is small and white. Aroma has fruitness of perries, spicyness, bananas, sweetness, hint of alcohol. Taste has fruitness, spicyness, some sweetness, alhocol is hidden. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Good tripel, but nothing more.

Pours a slightly hazy amber from a bottle, quickly dissipating white head. Slightly skunky aroma, otherwise rather fruity smelling. Big tropical fruit flavor, surprisingly but nicely hoppy Belgian tripel. Good beer.

Bottle from Market Street Wine Shop downtown. Pop the cork - holy shit. I have never seen such pressure behind a cork. It hit the ceiling and disappeared somewhere. Hazy dark golden with lots of floaters and a large large large off-white head. Smells of banana, bubblegum, yeast out the ass, apple, rubbing alcohol. Taste is pleasant. Apple, pear, wheat, rubbing alcohol, dried apricot (the kind you get in plastic bags in the health food section), spices. This is pretty tasty.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to the Kernel RotBox. Pours clear copper with pretty much no head. Lots of rich, sugary bread and fruit in the nose, some apples, dough, yeast, wheat, dates. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with light alcohol bump, a little apple sauce, doughy wheat. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with soft carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, sugary, bready, more wheat, some toffee. A heavy-hitting tripel. Not super drinkable, but not terrible.

Bottle for the Kernel Rotbox. It pours clear rich gold with no head whatsoever. The nose is weak, mellow, honey, apple, pear, grainy, porridge and riding pudding. The taste is rich, oily, chewy, honey, cereal, porridge, fatty, butter, stewed apple and pear skin with a slick finish. Medium+body and straight up flat. Pretty fucken weak and flat. Knackered.

Bottle split at LKS, thanks to Mother Arch rot box, 21/01/16. Clear golden orange with little in the way of a head. Nose is earthy fruit, hint of orange, straw, light caramel, touch old. Taste comprises figs, dates, caramel, marzipan, dried apricot, spice, fruit loaf. Medium + bodied, flat and lifeless, sweet licks in a light booze driven close So so
