De citrustonen in onze Tripel komen van korianderzaad en sinaasappelschil en het dikke witte schuim is te danken aan de tarwe. Een stevig bier om het hele jaar rond te drinken. Drink wel met mate, hij is niet alleen krachtig van smaak!

Draught @ Troost Oost. Cloudy golden yellow color. Dense almost white head. Aroma's: light sweet, herbal (coriander), light vegetal/sulphuric. Retronasal about the same. Flavor is light moderate sweet, light fruity sour. Medium bodied. Finishes light herbal bitter. Not the best of tripels.

150ml on tap at the brewpub Brouwerij Troost - de Pijp. A solid white tophead, Next to clear warm golden body. Spotty lacing. Moderate nose of bread and herbal hops. Sweet fruity flavours, hints of banana and yeast. Warmth from the alcohol. Fine bodied. Satisfying. (Amsterdam 08.03.2018).

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is phenolic, estery, dough, bananas, apricots, biscuity malts. Taste is bananas and apricots, estery, dough; boozy warming finish.. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Surprisingly good Tripel, although it could use a bit more spicy yeast character.

From tap at the brewery in Westerpark. After a few other beers from this brewery, finished with the tripel. I remember a good taste, nice tripel.

Tap at the brewery. Pours bright yellow. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, belgian yeast, sugary, citric. Flavor is sweet and bitter, fruity, citrus, orange, corriander, belgian yeasty. Feels really mellow for abv. Body is on the thinner side. Overall: would prefer maybe a bit more hops, but otherwise this is really good drinker.
