Draft at Troost. Hazy golden orange with a white head. Aroma of yeast, herbal notes, a little floral, citrus, malt and light fruit. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Amsterdam Pubcrawl 2016, @Troost, van tap. wazig geel met lichte kraag. aroma van koriander, sinaasappel, zuurtje, citrus. Smaken van sinaasappel, een shitload aan koriander, citrus, matige body, zachte co2.matig tot redelijk zoet, normale co2.

Sampled at Troost, De Pijp. Hazy pale yellow color, small to average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, yeast, citruspeel, citrussy. Decent body and carbonation. Hmm I think it’s ok.

Very hazy pale yellow w/white head. Sweet malts, citrus, yeast, dough, banana, cloves. Medium sweet, light bitter, slightly tart. Under medium body, soft carb. Been a while since I had a tripel! Quite alright, bit sweet, like every average tripel.

Draught @ Brouwerij Troost - de Pijp, Cornelis Troostplein 21, Amsterdam, Netherlands 1072 JJ. [ As Troost Tripel ].ABV: 7.2%. Light unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate yeasty, fruity yeasty, phenol, light banana - bubble gum. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average, fruit juice, thin, phenol, pale malt, yeast, fruity yeast, rubber notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150928]

Tap sample at Troost. Hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of loads of phenols and esters, chemical, alcohol, spices, malts, grain. Flavour is grainy, fruity, alcoholic, esters, phenols, bitter finish. Medium bodied at best. Not great. Glad I asked for a sample.
