WEST COAST IPA collaboration with TOPAZ FARM
A West Coast IPA with bright citrusy hop flavor and a crisp and crushable sweetness.
Topaz Farm, the farm, is a three generation family-owned and run farm 20 minutes outside of Portland. It’s also one of the coolest music venues in the state, hosting a rad summer concert series. Pumpkin patches. Sunflower mazes. Farm to plate dinners. You have to do a lot when you’re a farm. Or you get to do a lot. Topaz Farm, the IPA, is brewed light, full of flavor and full of purpose with a citrusy, candy sweet aroma and a refreshing, mildly bitter finish.
Hops: Citra, NZ Cascade, Crosby Amarillo
Malts: Rahr Pilsner, Linc Pale Wheat, Rahr Dextrin, Weyermann Acidulated

16 oz. can, pours a clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out bright piney hops, some melony hop tang, a touch of nice allium, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is bright, with big melony hops, pine, allium, and crisp biscuity malt. Bright, piney, melony, slightly oniony finish. Great structure, super bright and drinkable. Excellent as usual from Fort George.

473mL can. Pours a hazy blonde with a white head. Resinous pine and fresh grassy allium on the nose. Flavour is quite Citra-forward, but it comes across well, some dry resinous pine, and a slightly sweet cracker malt base. Clean, vibrant hop expression. Excellent.
