Bottle courtesy of Beerandblues2, thank you sir! Clear dark brown color, large fluffy tan head with good retention and solid lacing - not bad for a retired beer. Aroma of bitter cocoa. Taste is thin bitter dark chocolate.

Almost black with a small light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and liquorice. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted light bitter finish. 030911

Bottle. Very dark brown with small tan head. Flavour is roasted malts, little chocolate, little coffee, strong liquorice, little sweet and a little bitter.

From tap at YNWA. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and mild liqourice. Bitter, dark roasted malty and vague sweetness. Dry liqourice and roasted finish. Bitter and dark roasted malty finish. Vague sweetness persisting.
