Nice stuff. Simple and delicious as you’d expect. Pleasant light bitterness. Crisp and hoppy

Ive had this many times, but just realized I had not rated it. Drank it again yesterday at a festival in Tokyo so little bit rating from memory. Deep golden color. Lots of cereal notes and heavier and maltier than most pilsner in Japan. This is definitely S. Bavarian style pilsner, but really well made for what it is.

Bottle. Pours pale, looks thin and watery. Aroma has some bread, quite faint. Taste has some weak bittering hops, fruity and sweet. Actually not too bad, can imagine that this could be good from a larger glass. Aftertaste a bit soapy for some reason. Simple pils.

Draft at Devil Craft for RBJG2. Clear amber color, fluffy white head. White pepper aroma. Taste is clean and crisp, true to the style.

Tap at Devil Craft, Tokyo. Golden colour with a large white head. Little lacing. Malty hops aroma. Sweet malt flavour. Well balanced.

Bottled. Bready malt nose with grassy noble hops. Slightly biscuity, with a note of honey. Deep gold with a tall, fine head. Good balanced southern pilsner flavor: bready malts are quite rich and sweet, but the hops keep up nicely. Quite sweet mid palate, then nicely hoppy and bitter in the finish. A well done pils that I would like to try on tap.
