Draft from Spring lounge. Average witte, nothing special here. Move along.

At a tasting, thanks Tom L, smallish head, very hazy, very deep yellow color, aroma of candy and acetone with some fruit and spice, flavor of orange marmalade and apricot jam with that acetone, very light bitterness, no sourness. Something very wrong with this.

Bottle shared at Beer Market Jaffa. Hazy deep golden with almost no head. Somewhat oxidized aroma with alcohol, caramel, some cardboard, a bit of fruitiness and a bit of spiciness. Sweetish flavor, stale and oxidized, with cardboard, some honey, a bit of caramel, light fruitiness and alcohol, Light to medium-bodied. Sweet, stale and overly alcoholic. Pretty unpleasant. 4/2/3/2/6=1.7
Re-rate a few days later from a bottle that’s not as oxidized: Bottle sample at Ariel’s place. Thanks zvikar. Murky orange with almost no head. Aroma of coriander, oranges and some fruity esters.Sweetish flavor, spicy and kinda alcoholic. Medium-bodied. Still not fun. 4/2/4/3/7=2

12oz bottle thanks to eelbasher
Pours cloudy golden with a medium sized white head that dissipated to a small white ring, light lacing. Aroma of ripe apples, wet straw , coriander and lemon. Flavors of wheat, sweet malts, coriander with a herbal bitterness in the finish
Not terrible, but it doesn’t seem like anything goes together. Not enjoyable.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Oak Tree, 11/30/12

Aroma: The nose is rather fruity, with lots of orange/citrus, and some underlying wheat
Appearance: It pours an a little bit hazy orange color with a small white head and a little lace
Flavor: The taste is pretty heavy on the sweet side, with a ton of orange/citrus. There's not nearly as much of the spice or wheat flavors that you usually expect in this style, and there's no hop bitterness either.
Palate: This one has a light-medium body, it feels a little sticky, has a fairly fizzy carbonation
Overall Impression: Overall, I didn't love this one. I had a few issues. First off, it was too sweet for me. Secondly, it didn't really hit on the style (where's the spice? where's the Belgian component?). Lastly, I think this was a little too fizzy, which hurt the drinkability. I enjoy a super citrusy beer as much as the next guy, but this one just didn't quite work.

Received in trade from mdaschaf, thanks for the opportunity. Pours a slightly hazy deep golden color with a white head that barely ever forms and quickly disintegrates. Smells floral and yeasty with twinges of pomme and pitted fruit. I’m definitely getting a berry type aroma that is quite pleasant. Taste is malty almost sugary sweet with hints of bread and light pitted fruits. A bit of spice like nutmeg or allspice shows up and plays a supporting role. Medium body with a bit too little carbonation and a sweet almost sugary mouthfeel. Decent flavorful wit, maybe a bit sweet and under carbonated, but it worked pretty well for me.

Wife brought me home unexpected brew. Pours dusty orange with small head. Taste is citrus, caramel, fruity, hoppy, and yeast. Sweeter than I thought and not all wit like but quite tasty.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours light copper with a transient fizzy off-white head. Aroma is mildly fruity, perhaps with a touch of citrus. Med body. Flavor is spicey, musty and fruity. There’s a bit of roasted caramel, and on the whole it’s not too dry. Not sure about the wit, but it’s a solid Belgian. Has a bit of that Belgian yeast aspect that seems to be noticeable in many tripels.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy orange color with a huge foamy orange-beige head that faded fairly quickly and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet orange, lemon, must and coriander. The flavor was sweet and tangy orange, must and bread. The finish was long, and tart with lingering orange and bread. Fairly full bodied. Nicely done.
