On tap at Special Brews, pours a dirty, muddy dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma reveals lots of dark dried fruits, toffee, brown sugar, and a nice whiskey barrel woodiness. Flavour is assertive, with lots of wood, big bourbon barrels, dark dried fruits, brown sugar, and some alcohol. Massive barrels carrying this. Held up extremely well after all this time. Fantastic.

On tap at Special Brews. Pours a murky brown with a white head. Brown sugar, some brown bread, and nice, mellow bourbon barrels on the nose. Flavour has loads of burnt brown sugar, brown bread, dates, and a nice bourbon barrel character. Nice malt depth that is very well integrated with the base beer. Excellent.
