On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours almost black with a small foamy beige head and good lacing. Thereโs a strong aroma of roasted malts and coffee plus hints of chocolate. In the mouth it is quite sharp but with some underlying sweetness. Roast malts again prominent in the flavour plus ginger and coffee grounds. Later on some liquorice comes through together with hints of hops and honeycomb leading to a slightly dry finish. This is decent.
