Clear, medium amber with a tan, frothy head. Aroma is lightly sweet malty, slight caramel. Medium bodied with decent carbonation. Flavor is a bit malty, sweet, light roasted...very light. It’s not too shabby, for what it is; an easy drinking pub ale.

Bottle. A- Malty, doughy, bread. A- Dark amber color, clear liquid, white head. T- Mild bitterness, strong malts, watery. P- Light body, thin texture, flat carbonation, malty finish. O- A boring Irish ale that leaves me feeling it could have been a lot better.

Evaluation number 40. November 2010. Aroma is slightly alcohol. Color is brown with a very long lasting head. Taste: Attack comes with a slight bitterness (just enough). We can feel a very good balance between malt and hop. Very good balance. Pleasant beer.

Big fucken can @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours an orangish brown appearance with a khaki head. Earthy/herbal hoppy, cracker, light caramel, a touch metallic aroma. Biscuity, toffee, light caramel, bready, herbal/grassy, somewhat bitter flavor. Not too hard to drink but not really my thing either.

Draught at a Guinness event in Tel Aviv. Deep reddish amber color. Aroma of malt, light toastiness and minerally notes. Sweetish flavor, with some malt a bit caramelly, with faint toasted bread hints and a light minerally/earthy bitterness. Pretty light-bodied. Kinda drinkable but pretty bland and watery.

Brown with huge foamy head and lots of lacing. Sweet malt, light caramel roast, light bitter finish. Thinner than appears by the looks. OK, no surprises or major disappointments. Macro that has more taste than most of them.

Draught at Pitchers, Örebro, on May 24, 2013. As "Smithwick’s Superior Irish Ale".Clear copper to brown color, dense milk white head. Caramel, fudge, toffee, cream, malty (particularly English style malt like Maris Otter), grainy, dry taste. Slight roasted, butter, dry, grainy aftertaste. Spritzy fizzy mouthfeel, medium low bitterness. Malty, sweet, fruity, caramel, butter, English malt (again I’m thinking Maris Otter) scent.

Bouteille 330ml. (2006)

Drought. Amber with whitish small foamy head, doughy aroma, flat, slightly metallic taste, abrupt finish. Very much an industrial attempt.
