The idea for this beer originates from behind the Taproom bar. Our bar manager and longest serving Gravity employee, Zsófi, occasionally (meaning daily) sings a rhyme from one of Hungary’s very first memes, a song from a parody of a children's show called Poor Peti’s Grandma, which features Peti’s favourite juice made from beetroot, carrot, and gooseberry. We took that as a challenge and turned it into a prototype beer!
This gose is built on a soft, pillowy, wheat-forward malt base and packed with around 40% fruit and veggie content. Gooseberry and carrot round out the beetroot, while a higher salt content helps to bring out the beautiful, earthy notes of the additions. It is incredibly refreshing, savory, and high in acidity with massive fruity notes.

From tap at the Gravity Taproom, Budapest, 25.06.26. Milky red. Some pink head. Excellent aroma and taste of lactic acid, beetroot juice and sour gooseberries. Well-balanced and refreshing.
