The second variant of iKi is brewed with fresh Sencha tea leaves and Ginger. iKi Ginger is an amber colored beer with a rich crispy taste. Take a quiet moment and enjoy the taste and relax. The slight tingling caused by the ginger makes a crisp and a refreshing twist. It typically combines well with meat or goose liver. However in India and China ginger is often used with curries and fish.

Bottle from Seoul Plaza. Aroma estery, acetaldehyde, some ginger, but generally flawed. Hazy orange colour. Quickly disappearing head. Light to moderate ginger in taste, spicy, some clove, Belgian yeast. Not as bad as aroma would suggest but still a pretty weird combination.

Ambar oscura, muy densa de aspecto con un dedo de espuma que deja pelicula. Aroma escaso, acaramelado con toque de levadura. En boca confirma la cremosidad y pronto aparece un toque de gengibre, sin exagerar. El trago es sabroso, con buen punto de gas, base malteada y contraste lupulado herbal, seco, especiado. Pretende parecer japonesa, pero es holandesa. Parece un invento de laboratorio solo con fines comerciales. Pero sólo lo parece. Porque es una cerveza sabrosa, y diferente. Sorpresa.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Iki Beer Ginger ].Clear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, pale malt, carmale, spicy, herbs, ginger. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, pale malt, ginger, herbs. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150117]

Bottle shared. Pours cloudy amber with a thin off white head. Aroma of ginger, citrus, grain and light malt. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and bitter. The green tea comes out in the palate. Over light bodied with moderate carbonation.
