The second variant of iKi is brewed with fresh Sencha tea leaves and Ginger. iKi Ginger is an amber colored beer with a rich crispy taste. Take a quiet moment and enjoy the taste and relax. The slight tingling caused by the ginger makes a crisp and a refreshing twist. It typically combines well with meat or goose liver. However in India and China ginger is often used with curries and fish.

Piwo ciekawe ze wzgledu na zielona herbate a dodatkowo mamy tu imbir ktory daje pikanterii, ale w tym przypadku bardzo niewiele. No i pozostale skladniki ekologiczne. Piwo wyglada ladnie ze spora piana ale jakby rozlazla za malo zbita. Metnawe czerwonawo jasno pomaranczowy odcien, wysycenie srednie. Aromat herbaty troche sie wyczuwa daje piwu pewna zeskos i swiezosc. Smaczne treciwe i slodowe, leciutko przyprawowe.

Light amber colour. Initial flavour is quite malty. Later it becomes metallic with just a hint of ginger and it’s associated warmth in the finish.

Bottle @ ansjelaah @ NYE13. Clear amber colour with a small off-white head. Smells ginger, herbs. Tastes is not that bad. Some iron, slightly sweet, slightly fruity, not much ginger. Thin body, soft carbo. A bit boring, but that’s better then just aweful.

Hazy orange, medium bubbly head. Grassy, tropical fruits, some grapefruit. Light malty with just a hint of ginger, some slightly herbal which might be the green tea. Medium bodied. Not bad, I expected more a ginger and green tea drink, but this is most definately beer.

Slightly hazy dark golden colour, white head. Aroma of ginger, biscuit, malts. Quite sweet flavour, ginger, light bitter tea. Light body. Finish tea, spices, cardamom and biscuit.

33 cl bottle from the local organic store. Red/amber color, hazy, small off-white head. Smells refreshing, sweet fruits, caramel and hints of ginger. Ginger is slightly more apparent retronasal, also herbs, wheat. Flavor is lightly sweet , wheaty, a little herbal spicy, ginger. Body is light, but not too thin. Finishes lightly spicy and with a very faint bitterness. Nothing extreme, but pleasant enough.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hogerdijk, Culemborg. Hazy amber with a white head. Fruity yeasty malty aroma. Sweetish yeasty taste with ginger. I cannot taste any green tea though. Surprisingly tasty beer; I expected a flavoured pale lager but was pleasantly surprised,
