Our first beer aged in Willibald whisky barrels. We brewed a 10bbl batch of imperial stout and after fermentation put the entire batch into Willibald whisky casks to age.
Forever Young was barrel aged for six months before being bottled. Prost!

Stingy whisky barrel notes, some oakiness, roastiness, vanilla, oak, toffee and syrup. Quite intense barrel notes, but pretty tasty.
