Saison is the first beer we ever released in 2010 and is how our journey began.

Enamoured by the old world expressive, fermentation-focused ales of southern Belgium, our obsession quickly became to champion, explore the styles of saison and the old world wild ales in Australia. Originally brewed in 2009, this beer inspired the foundation of our brewery, La Sirène, the following year.

It ignited fascination among beer and wine drinkers alike when these French language, Euro-inspired beers in Champagne bottles with art nouveau labels started appearing among the brown bottled pale ales of Melbourne bars, pubs and restaurants. And our Saison has continued to see great success, awards and rave reviews, while continuing to go against the grain.

Today, Saison remains our flagship beer that reminds us of why we exist as a brewery.
