Poured into a mug, the appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a thin off white to almost ran foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Messy lace leaves some filminess.
The aroma had a soft sweet to roasty blend of dark and milk chocolate malts. Obvious amount of roasted coffee beans. Sly vanilla underneath.
The flavor blends sweet to roast between coffee bean, milk and dark chocolate. Vanilla seems barely there. Nicely blended roasty to sweet aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a good sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. Soft acidity, but acceptable. ABV felt good.
Overall, nicely done coffee stout. I would have this again if I could get it.

On tap at the BNA 8 party at World Cafe live Philadelphia Huge coffee bomb! There’s a little caramel sweetness but this beer is mostly coffee and at times a bit too bitter for me.

22oz bottle, thanks Huhzubendah! Poured a dark color without much of a head - perhaps a wispy brown color at best. Aroma is coffee with plenty of roasted and chocolate notes. This is pretty good! Touch of bitterness in the finish like a cup of coffee.

Bottle courtesy of Huhzubendah, thank you sir! Completely black color, thick brown head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of freshly roasted and brewed coffee. Taste is Italian coffee soda. Tasty if you like coffee, and it still has some beer characteristics.
